Dig For Eggs officially says you keep earning cash while offline. To measure it, prepare the productive plot, record cash and active pets, leave at a known UTC time, return after a known interval, and read any offline summary before selling loot or collecting other income. The public description does not state the cap, multiplier, claim location, or formula.
Prepare before leaving
Confirm which pets are active rather than merely owned. Fill intended productive spaces and finish any replacement you want included in the test. Record each active animal, current plot stage, cash total, and the UTC time.
Collect visible pending online cash if the game uses a collection action. Do not sell loot after recording the baseline. A clean starting state prevents an old sale or unclaimed amount from being mistaken for offline earnings.
Note any live text about offline duration, rate, or cap exactly. If none appears, leave those fields unknown. Do not borrow a cap from another Roblox simulator.
Read the return state first
When you rejoin, do not immediately dig, sell, hatch, or buy. Look for an offline summary, claim panel, plot indicator, or cash change. Record the displayed amount and elapsed time before confirming a claim.
After collection, record total cash. If no summary appears but the balance changed, note that behavior without assuming the entire difference came from offline pets. Repeat the test with a cleaner baseline.
Confirm that the intended pets are still active. A reset placement state would change the meaning of later tests and may indicate that ownership and active production need separate checks.
Calculate only a session result
Subtract the starting cash from the post-claim cash when no other source intervened. Divide by elapsed time only as a description of that test, not a guaranteed universal rate. Keep the raw amount and duration alongside any derived figure.
Repeat with the same lineup and similar duration. Consistent results can support a current observation. Different results may indicate a cap, rounding, server timing, an upgrade, or another cash source. Do not choose a formula without evidence.
Use separate records for short, medium, and long absences. A system can behave consistently for an hour and cap later. Only the live return screen or repeated controlled results can identify that boundary.
Compare pet lineups
Change one pet, reconfirm active placement, reset the cash baseline, and repeat a similar absence. Keep plot stage and other upgrades unchanged. Compare raw awards for comparable durations.
Rarity alone does not prove offline value. The official Legendary badge is a collection milestone, not an income formula. Use the Pet Income guide to establish online contribution and keep online and offline results in separate fields.
If a plot expansion adds another productive pet, record the old and new capacity as part of the comparison. The gain comes from both the new space and the selected animal.
Fix missing or low offline cash
First check active pet placement and whether a manual claim remains on the plot. Confirm the absence was long enough for the game to register but do not assume a minimum duration. Read current messages.
Check whether the award was added automatically before the UI appeared. Compare the cash total with the recorded baseline. Avoid selling or collecting another reward until the check is complete.
If repeated controlled tests show no award, document the lineup, duration, cash, return state, and server time. Rejoin through the official Experience and use normal reporting channels. Do not use an auto-claim or executor script.
Spend the return award well
Use offline cash on a known bottleneck. A shovel or strength step helps when active digging is slow. Plot space helps when a useful pet is stored or hatching is blocked. Saving is reasonable when the next verified upgrade is close and current play remains comfortable.
Do not spend before reading current prices and requirements. A community-reported shovel ladder can guide a target, but the live shop is authoritative. Keep the plot productive before leaving again.

Continue progression
Improve the productive lineup through the Pet Index and Pet Income. Expand with Plot Upgrades when another verified pet needs space. Review the Progression hub before choosing where the return award goes.
Verification level: offline cash is Official. Active-pet requirements, collection method, minimum duration, rate, cap, multiplier, rounding, and upgrade interactions need current in-game testing.
